Saint John's Catholic Students had the honor to perform in the opening of the exhibition "Germany, Land of Inventions" at the Deutsche Internationale Schule, BSD, on November 17, 2015. Opened by Dr. Georg Witschel, the German ambassador to Indonesia, the exhibition is accentuating the inventions made by German inventors, varied from computer science, medicine, communication, etc.
Presented mainly in German language, the exhibition is also helping the students to enhance their knowledge in German language. The translation cards are helping them to know more about the inventions. And the ability to interact with the other guests, most importantly with the Ambassador himself was an inspiring moment for the students.
The invited students are studying German language at school, and are possibly eyeing the chance to study in Germany. The exhibition is helping them to know more about the variation of academic major to take in Germany by knowing the history of inventions in Germany.
